Located at Taj Palace, Sardar Patel Marg, Diplomatic Enclave, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, Loya is a celebration of India’s northern culinary traditions, brought to life through the artistry of the chefs at one of Delhi’s most prestigious luxury hotels. The restaurant redefines modern Indian fine dining by showcasing age-old regional recipes from the Himalayan foothills, Kashmir, Punjab, Himachal, and Uttarakhand, all infused with Taj’s signature elegance and warmth.
The interiors of Loya are a masterpiece of design — featuring earthy tones, handcrafted décor, and warm lighting that reflect the rugged landscapes and cultural richness of the North. The atmosphere is intimate yet sophisticated, blending tradition with contemporary flair.
On the menu, diners discover authentic slow-cooked delicacies, including the celebrated Rogan Josh, Kashmiri Morels, Tandoori Trout, and Handi Gosht, alongside comforting vegetarian options like Dum Aloo, Dal Loya, and Bhune Chole. Each dish highlights traditional cooking techniques such as open-fire roasting, slow simmering, and tandoor grilling, preserving the flavors and textures that define North Indian cuisine.
The restaurant’s concept revolves around the idea of “unity in diversity through food”, bringing regional ingredients and forgotten spices to the forefront. Signature beverages, crafted with Himalayan botanicals, and curated desserts like Gur Ki Kheer and Saunf Halwa, complement the dining experience perfectly.
With its refined service, cultural storytelling, and immersive ambience, Loya offers a journey that goes beyond dining — it’s an exploration of India’s culinary heartlands. Conveniently located in Taj Palace, Chanakyapuri, the restaurant attracts diplomats, gourmands, and travellers seeking authentic Indian luxury dining. City Nest proudly features Loya as a symbol of heritage, innovation, and world-class hospitality in the capital.

a week agoTotal disappointment as nothing tasted good. House cocktail was a total flop, starters were ok but the mains and desserts were awful. I was in total total awe of being served such low quality food at such an establishment.
