I can assure you that this place serves authentic and the BEST Sushis in Mumbai for sure. Just loved each of them. Plus the view surely looks amazing.
Wonderful service Too.
First, yes it is expensive. Second, service is very good, attentive and knowledgeable. We liked most of the dishes except the salmon sushi which was just ok. The Yurine mousse was divine. A great experience.
My first real introduction to Japanese food. I am so glad we came here instead of going to my favourite Italian restaurant...
We had sushi and a sort of white asparagus (you can tell I am a total newbie) with a really delicious gravy.
A salad that the chef had made for the president of the US (I added mushrooms and it tasted Divine)... Am sure the president didn't get mushrooms with his salad.
They surprised us with a totally decadent rich dark chocolate cake with hints of raspberry in it. It was my birthday and this was a brilliant lunch.
We sat by the window and we should have had a view of the sea... But the building was undergoing construction so that was obscured.
The music was horrible and they did shut it off for a few minutes when we requested... But put it back on...
That was the only thing that spoilt a lovely afternoon out... But the food was so good, I couldn't give them a 4 star rating. It has to be a full 5!
Am I coming back here? Yes. Most definitely!
One of the best Japanese restaurants in town although a little overpriced. Its a must try but only a once try kind of a restaurant. Except the rock shrimp tempura which wasn't that great in terms of taste none of the dishes justify their price when it comes to the portion or the lack of it. The spicy angel shrimp sushi which is their take on prawn tempura sushi with a different sauce which came recommended by the server is a must try but the portion is a little underwhelming. The king crab robatayaki was good but neither the the taste nor the portion justify the price. The dessert which again came recommended by the server was the highlight of the night. I would recommend going to the restaurant even if its just to try the dessert.
Fantastic japanese cuisine with service to back it up. The chefs are well trained and masters at what they do as is evident by the presentation and detail. Fresh wasabi is quite rare at a Japanese restaurant but itβs served here fresh at your table side, ground on shark skin as is traditional. I would stay away from saucy dishes and just focus on the fish and rice and never be dissapointed here.
